This deserves a higher score.

But, it also deserves a tune-up. I think, at least. It's really an incredible piece, regardless of whether it resembles Terrible Lie or not. And after a couple listens, I did catch the song in there. So all I'm suggesting is an updated, or should I say more "epic" version, other than that it's fantastic.

Ahaha..

Great work, as the others below have said. I just had to comment that the metallic hits/notes totally reminded me of Michael Jackson's "Beat It". xD

Wondering if you noticed this too, but other than that, like I said, great work.

THIS. IS. EPIC!

GodDAMN, that was tight. I'm really glad I found you recently. Everyone should know about this song. And your work. It's awesome.

This is.. amazing.

It has a style that's original, as well as picking up on Akira Yamaoka's. It makes me hope they hire you for the rest of the Silent Hill series, since Akira left. It's just an incredible track with strong emotion. Great job!

Nice.

Great song. I've been listening to some others of yours, I think you guys are really well put together. Your voice is great, and I like the way you guys go into different territories in music. Sometimes the lyrics make me cringe..but overall they're catchy, funny, and entertaining. Do you have specific influences?

Anyway, keep doing whatever the hell you want, but I hope you guys explore even more styles. You know, always try to do something different, but still true to the spirit of your band. I'd like to think that's what punk really is. YOU GUYS FUCKIN' ROOOOOCK

Thanks! As far as influences, I think the main influences are Blink-182 and Guttermouth but pretty much everything XD

THIS should be on the radio

Many things:

1. NIN comparison. Sorry, I can't escape it :B Definately sounds like this would be the "epic" track on Pretty Hate Machine, and I imagine it being so much more powerful with the right lyrics (and the right use of those lyrics). But even without lyrics, the song is great.

2. The melodies are perfect, even if they might not be original. It almost sounds like a hint of Tool, I think.

3. I think a super hardcore version of this would fucking ROCK. But still keeping the beauty of the melodies, of course. What I mean is, with more powerful beats and some distorted guitar, and synthesizers and all that jazz. If not a super hardcore version (which I crave intensely while listening to the song), then a kind of remix that would be perfect for an "epic" and "extremely satisfying" ending to some kind of awesome videogame.

I think I went a little off the topic of discussing the actual song on that last one.. anyway, I love the song. A few unoriginal melodies here and there mixed with something interesting and new is good for bringing in a different audience to your work, you know, like a hook to reel them in to discovering new types of sounds.

Oh, and I hope you make an album. (: BYE BYE

Un tss Un tss Un tss

When I saw "electro pop-punk" and started getting into the song, I thought about Metro Station, or something similar to them. Is that what you're going for? Either way, I would say add some guitar for that "punk" part, so it'll be even more catchy. :3

Beautiful

Makes me happy. Almost like a modern classical piece or something. Like, it's simple without being too cliche. That's how I feel about it. Definitely a credit-roller.

I agree with the others about the repetitiveness, but I still love it.

Too kind, far too kind!

Thanks for the review :)

Reminds me of...

Ape Escape! Damn, that soundtrack was great. And so is this song. Could have been used in the game. Anyway, relaxing and spage-age-y, love it.

I like how your stuff is diverse.

Should have known

Hah, for some reason I didn't see your name in the credits, but now I know why I loved the music in the flash so much. Still love it. Ahhh. Orgasm for the mind. :B

snayk responds:

YEAH BITCH YEAH

thanks and all that jazz
